El Burro is a hand lino–printed artwork, created in collaboration between Nanxi of Studio Flora and Fauna and Christine of SeaDog Designs.
The original El Burro design was developed together, drawing on shared influences of nature, storytelling, and slow, hands-on making. Each print is hand-stamped by Nanxi using traditional lino printing techniques, one at a time, onto handmade paper.
The paper itself is delicate and beautifully textured; its soft, organic surface holding the ink in subtle, uneven ways. Against this natural ground, the El Burro image feels both grounded and tender, carrying the quiet marks of pressure, movement, and human touch. No two prints are exactly the same; variation is part of the beauty.
This is a piece meant to be lived with; a small, honest work of art that brings warmth, story, and a sense of handcraft into a space.
