SeaDog Designs is a collection of one of a kind, hand dyed, clothing designs; ranging from dresses and robes, to simple tees and even baby onsies, there is truly something for everyone!
Explore the world of hand dyed fabrics, with the most beautifully unique patterns that are anything but your traditional tie dye. Earthy rich tones, mixed with subtle dewy jewel hues, dreamy pastels with bold blacks, SeaDog Designs will take your imagination and wardrobe to new worlds while maintaining an ever present fashion forward edge. All dyes used are considered low impact, non toxic and fiber reactive. With an emphasis on "slow fashion", the intent of each design is to make you feel like it is a special "forever piece"; quality craftsmanship reflects this and you will have your piece for years to come.
All pieces are designed and individually hand dyed locally on Salt Spring Island, by owner and designer, Christine Campbell. Production of sustainably sourced, new fabric garments takes place in Bali, Indonesia at an open air, ethical, family run manufacturer. SeaDog Designs also endeavors to use up-cycled fabrics whenever possible. All up-cycled clothing is hand selected by the designer, to ensure quality fabric and craftsmanship , as well as flattering cool shapes.
Every SeaDog Designs piece is truly one of a kind and uniquely inspired by you!
Every Saturday from April to October, you will find SeaDog Designs at the Salt Spring Island Market in the Park; located oceanside at Centennial Park, in the heart of Ganges Harbour. Find me specifically in my usual spot by the ocean, just across from the “Local” pub!
The Market is a fabulous day out! Browse internationally acclaimed arts and crafts from Canada's "Island of the Arts" including world class potters, jewelers, fiber artists, woodworkers, fine art & photography, body care, clothing and accessories, island tours and more. Enjoy live music and entertainment. And of course check out what started the market all those years ago - organic produce, farmstead cheeses, organic and delicious homemade snacks and food. Meet over 140 artisans and food producers who all contribute to Salt Spring's international reputation as a hotbed of world-class artists and organic farmers.
We acknowledge that the land on which SeaDog Designs operates, is the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the Tsawout First Nations. As guests, we honour the land, water, animals, and the continued efforts of the Indigenous people working to protect them.
